Blog Aid-Recipes for Haiti

So I'm back from my media tour with a cold that has not gone away, but has certainly let up since the beginning of the week and a tired body! But all that aside, I arrived home to smiling family and lots of good news.

I was asked to contribute some recipes for a great cause that my friend Julie VanRosendaal conjured up to help raise funds for Haiti. She truly is amazing! She gathered up oh about 27 of her closest food friends and put together a cookbook in record time (about 3 weeks) with the very generous help of printers and photographers and designers and a print on demand system there are already over 450 books sold!

All the proceeds from book sales will go to Haitian relief via the Red Cross and Doctors without Borders and West Canadian Graphics and Blurb are matching the proceeds raised, they're matching it up to $10,000. Of course until February 12th, the Canadian government will match that total. Isn't that great news!
