Quiet Day Today
This morning was a bit of a buzz as I went to my son's nursery school to help with their winter playday. So much fun to see 3 and 4 year olds trekking through waist high deep snow and how their eyes lit up when they noticed the deer tracks. But what brought more wonder and amusement was the deer poop! Hey guys look at that. The giggles and all out cries of Ooohs put a big smile on my face.
The sun was shining through the kitchen window this afternoon while I tested a recipe and then enjoyed the fruits of my labour. My how I love my work sometimes. The kids played after while I enjoyed a "fancy coffee" with my mom and we sat and chatted about this and that. It's a wonder how hours and minutes go by and they turn into days just to sit back later in life to wonder where it all went. Enjoy those moments, although small they will make a world of difference later.
